Crazy to think that we are half way through January already!! Thank you for taking the time to check out this midweek email!
This email is designed to connect you with your kids during the week based on what they learned on Sunday and to also review what they learned. We will have a verse to look up that goes along with our bible lesson and big idea. We will also have discussion questions that you can review with your kids from Sunday’s lesson. If you weren’t there on Sunday, no big deal, you can still participate!
UPDATE Reminder: Your children are bringing home challenge cards every Sunday to do during the week, every 3 challenge cards they bring back signed from their parents they will receive a prize.
Here at Rocky we offer programing for birth – 5th grade during all of our main worship services. Each age group has a specially designed environment and curriculum. The main goal of our weekend program is to teach our kids about the bible and create space for parents/guardians to go and worship.
Follow us on our Facebook Page to see what your children are learning each week.
If you have questions about our special needs weekend program and events, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
God Created Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:26-31)
READ: Have your child open their Bibles to “Ephesians 2:10” and read the verse aloud together.
Then ask your child:
What does the first part of this verse call us? (God’s handiwork, workmanship, or masterpiece.)
What does that tell you about what God thinks of humans?
How can God use your unique gifts and the unique way you are created to make a difference in the world? If you can’t think of anything, talk with someone about what they think.
What job did God give Adam and Eve?
Since other people are created in His image as well, how should we treat them?
What is something special about yourself that you like?
- What would you tell a friend who did not like something about themselves?
Send someone a card telling them something you love about them.
