Join us as we learn about God’s love for us. Our Sunday morning classes meet during the 10:45 service at both the Frederick and Niwot campuses for students and adults. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The special needs ministry at our church plays a vital role in creating a warm and inclusive space for those in our community who may be living with a disability. Our primary aim is to foster an environment where everyone, regardless of their abilities or challenges, can find meaningful connections, grow in their faith, and experience the power of Jesus’ love.
WHAT FAMILIES AND VOLUNTEERS ARE SAYING
Volunteering in the Special Needs classroom during the 10:45am service is very rewarding. The kids and young adults that attend this class are each exceptional and unique in their own way. They come ready to have fun! Connections and friendships are made here. In the process, they also learn scripture, a weekly bible story and how it applies to them on a tangible level. Rocky uses a curriculum that can easily be adjusted to the level of the students and always includes a funny, short video to help supplement the lesson. The Special Needs classroom is a gratifying and enjoyable place to serve.
We are Blessed to have found special friends. Mindy and her volunteer staff have been so wonderful with Faith. She is so excited to go to church every week, and I love that she can hear about Jesus in her environment and create friendships.
