WHAT IS SUMMER CON?

Summer Con is a 2-day experience for 6th-12th grade students of Rocky.Church and other churches in our surrounding area.

This year students will gain exclusive access to top-tier artists, content creators, speakers, and influencers. Students can expect a concert, meet and greets, break out sessions, esports tournament, food trucks, and an experience designed to help students discover their purpose.

FAQ

If I don’t attend Rocky, can I attend the conference?

Of course! Summer Conference is for EVERY student! If you are a part of a different church, talk to your youth pastor about signing up your group! If not, sign up under the “Student” registration!

Is this an overnight/lock-in?

It is not. Guests will go home or can coordinate staying at a friend’s house.

How do I sign up for the Esports Tournament?

Visit our sign up page and select your time slot. spots are limited

How Do I Sign Up For the Volleyball Tournament?

Teams will be able to sign up and submit their teams all day on Saturday to our main kiosk. Teams will be made up of 8 or less. Volleyball will be 6v6 in either single or double elimination based on number of teams.

Do I need to bring money?

Yes, if you plan to purchase any food from the food trucks, merchandise, books, desert trucks, etc.

Is food covered or do I need to pay?

Lunch on Saturday is covered by company sponsorships. We will also have snacks and treats available for free along with food and dessert trucks available for purchase throughout the event.

I have a food allergy, will that be accommodated?

We will do our best to accommodate food allergies. Please be sure to note it on your registration! We will reach out if we are unable to accommodate your specific allergy.

Will Rocky provide transportation?

Rocky will not provide transportation for this event.

Will you have a security team in place for the conference?

Yes, absolutely! Our amazing security team will be there throughout the time of the conference.

Will the content be appropriate for both senior and junior high students?

Yes! Content will absolutely be appropriate for all ages!

I am attending with a different church group, how should I register?

Please register via our visiting church and contact your youth pastor or leader to register your group.

BROOKE JAWORSKI

Brooke Jaworski is a standout American track and field athlete first competing for the University of Texas at Austin, where she became a three-time individual Big 12 Conference Champion and contributed to six Big 12 team titles. Her versatility and competitive spirit made her a key figure on the track, and she played a significant role in helping the Longhorns capture the 2023 NCAA Outdoor National Championship.


Following her time at Texas, Brooke continued her academic and athletic journey at the University of Minnesota while earning a master’s degree in Sport Management. As a Golden Gopher, she served as a team captain and set the indoor 800-meter school record, further cementing her legacy as a dedicated and driven athlete. She also helped lead Minnesota to a Big Ten Outdoor Conference Championship, showcasing her leadership and elite performance on and off the track.


In 2025, Brooke joined the University of Colorado Athletics as a Senior Advancement Assistant for the Buff Club, where she combines her passion for sports and people in the world of collegiate athletics. Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Brooke has a foundation of faith that has propelled her in this journey of life laying a foundation for every challenge and success along the way.

DON READY

Don Ready is a genre-defying artist who fuses raw emotion with sonic innovation. Over 20 million listens, hailing from Western Kentucky, Don’s music is a vibrant tapestry of hip-hop, pop and R&B that defies categorization and transcends boundaries.

JOHN RUSH


Jon is a dynamic communicator, pastor, and visionary leader with over a decade of ministry experience. He’s served at City First Church in Rockford, IL, and Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC, and now calls Franklin, TN, home, where he’s rooted in Holy Saints.

Partnering with TheosU, Jon leads Theos Youth—an initiative making theology accessible for pastors and Christians. He’s also pursuing a Biblical Studies Certificate to deepen his teaching of scripture.

As a traveling preacher and content creator, Jon combines faith and culture, streaming on Twitch and inspiring the next generation of creators who follow Jesus. He’s the Outreach Director of Practice Server, helping build thriving online communities and run large-scale gaming events.

Jon coaches youth pastors and creative teams nationwide, equipping them to engage Gen Z and Gen Alpha with purpose. His mission: help leaders navigate video games, content, and culture as faithful followers of Jesus.

KIRBY KELLY

Kirby Kelly is a Christ-centered content creator and influencer. With over 9 million views on YouTube she runs the Bought + Beloved podcast along with her YouTube channelInstagram, and TikTok. Kirby uploads weekly content that inspires, encourages, and teaches people the Truth of the Bible and how to cultivate a relationship with Jesus.


Her passion is teaching God’s truth everywhere she goes; on stages and in front of cameras, through writing and one-on-one conversations. She desire to see this generation and culture flourish in freedom and confidence in their identity and to walk in the victory that has been won on the Cross.

SYDNE PORTER

Sydne Porter is the Co-Owner of Identify Creative Group, a dynamic talent management company representing influential voices such as Gracie Binion, Rohn Starling, Roosevelt Stewart, and Joe L. Barnes — collectively reaching and impacting an audience of over 2 million people. In her role as both Co-Owner and Business Specialist, Sydne is dedicated to crafting innovative strategies, building meaningful relationships, and helping artists thrive in their calling and influence. Her work is rooted in both creativity and intentionality, allowing each client to grow in their purpose while navigating the complexities of the industry.


More than a strategist and leader, Sydne is deeply grounded in her faith. Captivated by the person of Jesus, she intentionally weaves her values and vision into every aspect of her work and life. Previously called Colorado home, she now lives in Tennessee with her husband and two children, embracing the joy and challenge of balancing motherhood, marriage, and mission-driven entrepreneurship. Sydne’s approach is both professional and personal, marked by excellence, faith, and a heart to see others walk confidently in their influence.

MATT MCDONALD

Matt is the Student Pastor at Rocky’s Frederick campus and one of the voices behind the Rocky Students Podcast and visionary behind Rocky.GG Gaming. Matt ended up in Colorado to play college basketball, and now enjoys helping students discover who they are and how they can follow Jesus. He’s married to Ash (the real MVP), and has three awesome kids Mack, Ace, & Haven.


Matt’s a jack of all trades — from watching Star Wars, mining Bitcoin in the background, co-running an Etsy shop with Ash where we create faith, gaming, and mental health-inspired gear. You can find him recording a podcast episode, keeping up with his kids, leading students, or dreaming to be a Carhartt ambassador, Matt’s all about building things that matter and having fun while doing it. Over the years Matt has been able to work with thousands of students from Colorado and truly believes in the rising generations.

MIKE REA

Mike Rea serves as the Student Pastor at Rocky Mountain Christian Church’s Niwot campus. A native of Longmont, Colorado, he attended Fairview High School and later played collegiate lacrosse at Wittenberg University and Colorado State University, contributing to the Rams’ 2013 MCLA National Championship team. He graduated from Ozark Christian College with a degree in Christian Ministry and a focus in Student Ministry.

Mike is married to his wife, Sydney, and they have two sons, Jameson and Riley. Beyond his pastoral duties, Mike is an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche and all things Pokémon, particularly collecting the cards. He also appreciates “The Lord of the Rings,” Studio Ghibli films, and the sport of lacrosse.

Deeply committed to youth ministry, Mike is dedicated to guiding students in discovering their identity in Christ and embracing the life to which they are called.
