ROCKY GROUPS

LET'S GO TOGETHER.

WHAT ARE GROUPS AT ROCKY?

Rocky Groups are smaller intentional communities, designed to help you GO TOGETHER and GROW TOGETHER. In these groups, you will forge Christ-centered friendships, make meaningful connections, and cultivate a healthy sense of belonging.

You can join these small groups almost any time throughout the year. To get started, find an open group or learn how you can facilitate a group using the options below.

ROOTED

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience that helps you grow closer to God and find community within a group context. Whether you’re exploring what it means to follow Jesus, ready to grow deeper in your faith or are looking for people to do life with, Rooted is for you.

Rooted groups begin twice a year (Fall and Winter)

“I found this Rooted Study to be full of God’s truth laid out in a way that establishes and renews the basics of our faith.”

HAVE QUESTIONS? CHECK OUT OUR FAQ!

How large are groups typically?

The size of our groups are generally around 5 to 15 people.

Is there childcare for groups?

Generally, no. However, we typically offer Rooted on Sunday mornings and children can participate in Rocky Kids programming during their Sunday group time.

Do you offer men’s/women’s or life stage groups?

Yes, we offer men’s and women’s studies and events throughout the year. Keep an eye on our events (link to page) calendar for start dates!

How do I get the materials for my study?

Group Facilitators will provide information on obtaining study materials. If you are joining a Rooted study, those books are available at Rocky.

When/where does my group meet?

Many groups meet in homes or onsite at one of our church campuses. Your facilitator will contact you about the date and location of your first group meeting.

Do Groups continue on together?

Our preference is for new groups to begin with the Rooted study, with the intention of the group transitioning into a long-term “life group”.

However, we understand that this transition may not be the best fit for every individual. If that’s the case, you always have the option to join a different existing group or to facilitate the launch of a new group.

How do I start my own group?

Since there are a variety of ways a group can start, please contact your campus specific Groups Director.
