Social distancing cannot keep us from spiritual closeness! In the midst of this difficult and isolating season, we want to provide a place to connect and pray online. Even though we won’t be meeting together physically, the church was never a building or a location. The Church has always been the people. We want to BE the Church online, meeting together, encouraging one another and praying for each other, our community and the world.
An online group is a group of 3-8 people that will be meeting together for the next 4 to 8 weeks. Through this group you will connect in two primary ways:
- HOME BASE: Your group will connect with each other throughout the week via text, Facebook or some other social media application.
- MEETING SPACE: You will connect at least once a week on video through Zoom, Facebook Video, Google Hangouts or another online video platform.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING IN THIS GROUP?
TWO – Throughout the week you will be encouraged to stay in contact with each other through the HOME BASE: encouraging each other, posting verses, sharing ideas, and praying for one another.
THREE – When you meet together online you will check in with each other for 60 to 90 minutes to make sure everyone is doing ok, to talk about the message from Sunday, and to share prayer requests and pray for each other.
FOUR – After the isolation ban has been lifted, you are encouraged to meet each other face-to-face at least once.
WHICH GROUP SHOULD I CHOOSE?
The simple answer is: the one that works for you. We have several different types of groups to choose from: (open to anyone, men’s, women’s). These groups take place at various times throughout the day. Find a type and time that works for you and register for that group.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER?
After you register, your group host will connect with you within 24 hours to make sure you are a part of your group’s home base.
