Due to COVID-19 concerns and the increased need in our communities, many of our local organizations are continuing to step up and provide services. This means there is an increased need for food and hygiene products and an increased need for volunteers. If you are healthy and have time in your schedule, please consider helping out at the organizations listed below. Check back here for more opportunities in the coming days.
The OUR Center needs food donations, as well as volunteers (age 16 or above) to help meet the increased needs in the community and to serve clients in the safest and most efficient way. Volunteer opportunities include directing parking lot traffic, stocking Market shelves, packing food boxes, preparing lunches, serving to-go meals, or picking up food at area restaurants and grocery stores. The current needs are: canned vegetables, canned beans, dry pinto beans, hearty soups and pastas.
Sister Carmen serves the East Boulder County community and needs food and hygiene donations. Current needs include: canned proteins, canned fruit, canned meals, soup, cereal, toilet paper, and household cleaning products.
